Silence Fallen: A Mercy Thompson Novel by Patricia Briggs

Silence Fallen (A Mercy Thompson Novel) by [Briggs, Patricia]

In the #1 New York Times bestselling Mercy Thompson novels, the coyote shapeshifter has found her voice in the werewolf pack. But when Mercy’s bond with the pack—and her mate—is broken, she’ll learn what it truly means to be alone…
Attacked and abducted in her home territory, Mercy finds herself in the clutches of the most powerful vampire in the world, taken as a weapon to use against alpha werewolf Adam and the ruler of the Tri-Cities vampires. In coyote form, Mercy escapes—only to find herself without money, without clothing, and alone in the heart of Europe…

Unable to contact Adam and the rest of the pack, Mercy has allies to find and enemies to fight, and she needs to figure out which is which. Ancient powers stir, and Mercy must be her agile best to avoid causing a war between vampires and werewolves, and between werewolves and werewolves. And in the heart of the ancient city of Prague, old ghosts rise…

Oh my we wait so long for a new Mercy Thompson book! The last couple were a bit dark, but this one is more Mercy and Adam. Yes, she gets kidnapped, again. But this bad ass girl can protect her pack and get the job done.

Told from Mercy and Adams point of view, it is easy to read and always fun. Mercy is both fun and a bit snarky and I love that about her. Some of our old friends are back and some new ones come in.

Though a bit of a complicated plot, it ties up nicely and now we sit and wait for Ms. Briggs to give us our next Mercy adventure!

If you haven’t read the Mercy Thompson series, well why not?  I would suggest that you start with the first one though so you know who is who.

I would have had this review done earlier but as soon as I got the book OU Boy snatched it out of my hand and ran to the bedroom with it. I think he may have snarled at me a few times! So yes, guys or gals, this series is delicious!

  1. I love your love for books! I buy them but don’t necessarily have time to read em’. But in the near future I am planning to read much more. I am having a hard time just trying to keep up with all of the blogs I follow! They are each unique, special to me and there’s always something to gain from them all~ Have a great day Patty❤

  2. Okay.. just because you love it, I’ll get it. Not thrilled about Mercy being kidnapped – yet again – but, okay. (Honestly, though how many times can she be kidnapped before they inject her with a tracking chip? Hahaha…)
