Life and Other Near-Death Experiences by Camille Pagan

lifeandothernearLibby Miller is having a really bad day.
Working for a shrew of a boss, finding out she has cancer, quitting her job, and accidentally finding out her husband isn’t who she thought he was.
Ms. Pagan gives us complex, but human characters to follow along with Libby as she makes decisions and comes to grip with her cancer and how she wants to live the life she has left.
Having just recently lost my mother in law to cancer, I now understand a lot of the decisions she made that we all thought she was crazy to make.
The book was easy to read as well as hard. It had me wondering what I would do if faced with Libby’s situation. It’s difficult to read about or look at a subject so many of us are terrified of, but I am happy to have read it and would recommend it as a great read!
